Today on my Patreon we take a look at one of the most stunning illustrations from the so-called Douce Apocalypse, a special favourite of both William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones when they were students at Oxford. It was made in England during the XIII Century and, according to Morris, it was “Gothic design at its best”.
