"All this he saw, for one moment breathless and intense, vivid on the morning sky; and still, as he looked, he lived; and still, as he lived, he wondered."

Chris Sims e Hillary Louise Johnson – Scrum: a Breathtakingly Brief and Agile Introduction

  1. Una sezione introduttiva su cosa sia il Scrum;
    1. Product Owner;
    2. Scrum Master;
    3. (altri) membri del team.
    1. il ritmo di lavoro;
    2. metodi di pianificazione;
    3. la daily scrum (che nella mia webcast ho chiamato anche standup);
    4. il ruolo delle user stories, su cui tanto mi sto concentrando in questo periodo;
    5. la revisione dello sprint;
    6. la retrospettiva;
    7. la possibilità che uno sprint termini in modo anomalo (e come comportarsi in quel caso);
    8. le procedure cosiddette di inspect & adapt, che alcuni dei miei studenti già conoscono (in quell’occasione, abbiamo usato le coaching cards).

Isaac Asimov’s Gold (and other stories)

It’s unfortunate that I’m coming to this after the very unsatisfactory collection of “fantasy” stories (Asimov never wrote fantasy: he wrote satire), because this was another disappointment. The book is half short stories and half non-fiction, for random reasons, and the non-fiction half is random writings

The Murderbot Diaries: Rogue Protocol + Exit Strategy

I’m not crying: a piece of some murdering bot must have gotten in my eye. Rogue Protocol is the third novella in the Murderbot Diaries, and deals with the titular character going deep undercover to figure out what happened in the “mining incident” that was
