On the fifth day of Christmas
my true love sent to me:
Five Golden Rings
Four Calling Birds
Three French Hens
Two Turtle Doves
and a Partridge in a Pear Tree

At last an actual gift, after all these birds (and I suggest you do some math with this guy). For a change, I thought I would too show you some ring-related Christmas stuff.

1. Kenan Türkmen

Kenan Türkmen from Finland specializes in snowflakes. And butterflies. And flowers. His shop is named Hich, and his snowflake ring is my favorite jewel of these festivities.

2. Andy Schumann

Well, it’s not rings and it’s not in gold, it’s pewter, but still… Schumann does scultures and pendants, he has some neat winter stuff (Santa and Grandmother’s House) and he also did a series of pendant decorations for the 12 days of Christmas. Here‘s the five golden rings.

3. M Tuzon

It’s the last he did and it’s a hedgehog. The cutest thing ever.

4. Hester Durkan

She did other 12 days cards, but where there’s rings… well, you just have to. So, here’s her card and wrapping paper for the fifth day.

5. Charlie Best

If you’re feeling low because it’s not birds, Charlie Best fixed it for you and turned the gold rings into goldspinks.

I’ve decided to continue showing you beautiful stuff (or at least stuff I think it’s beautiful) even after Christmas, but instead of having monographic articles featuring single illustrators I’ll be grouping them with themes. As a theme I’m picking the Twelve Days of Christmas, a British carol I adore. If you never heard it (you’re clearly not Britsh) I suggest you take a look at this incredible performance.
