Si mettono i galleggianti ai matitoni, si strizzano i giocatori, si svuotano i secchi dell’acqua e alle 15:53 si ricomincia, con i padroni di casa sempre sotto di due punti.

Ore 16:02 – infortunio al ginocchio del 53 verde, che esce dal campo sulle proprie gambe data l’estrema difficoltà che dimostra il team medico nell’approntarsi a guadare il campo (e vorrei tanto che fosse una battuta).
Ore 16:10 – Con le pinne, il fucile e gli occhiali, i Rams in attacco subiscono la difesa bresciana trovandosi a retrocedere fino alle proprie dieci yarde con un quarto e venticinque.
Ore 16:13 – Palla ai Bengals e invasione di campo di Tiziana, che quasi distrae dal bellissimo intercetto Rams: un gran colpo di remo, sulla metà campo, ma il terzo quarto si chiude sullo stesso punteggio, con un quarto e quindici fallito e una ripartenza Bengals sulle cinquanta yarde.
Ore 16:19 – Procedura illegale dell’attacco di Brescia, con cinque yarde di penalità e una canoa in omaggio. Fa un freddo barbino. E sbucano zanzare sommozzatrici con boccaglio e trivella pneumatica.

Ore 16:26 – Nuovo touchdown dei Bengals, che si portano così sui 14 a 6 con una trasformazione da due punti fallita (causa pallone saponato), ma una canoa in omaggio.
Ore 16:34 – Grande corsa Rams, in stile libero, che porta i padroni di casa sui 12-14. Senza canoa in omaggio.
Ore 16:40 – Corsa di un giocatore Bengals travestito da lontra, che va in touchdown con trasformazione da due. Rams 12, Bengals 22.
Ore 16:46 – La situazione si fa scura (letteralmente, non si vede più un cazzo): non garantisco l’esattezza di quello che scrivo in generale, ma in particolar modo da ora in poi. È tutto buio. Fa tanto freddo. Non so nuotare. Statemi vicino.
Ore 16:52 – Nuovo touchdown Bengals, con trasformazione da due stroncata dalla difesa verde. Niente terza canoa, per il momento: si preannuncia un ritorno a nuoto per metà della squadra.
Ore 15:57 – Il livello dell’acqua sale, il pubblico si arrocca sull’ultimo gradino degli spalti e assistismo ad un nuovo colpo di remo Rams, risvegliati: 18-28. Si lamenta la mancanza delle cheerleader, che per l’occasione avrebbero potuto esibirsi in una coreografia di Esther Williams.
Ore 17:30 – Offshore della difesa, cinque yarde di penalità ai Rams ed i Bengals che nuovamente tentano la volata, fermati sulle venti.
Ore 17:04 – Fischio finale.
