Passando in libreria, mi sono imbattuta in questo autore francese (al secolo Laurence Lefèvre) e ho preso uno dei suoi primi libri. Perché? Vari motivi. Innanzitutto è francese, cosa che già depone in suo favore. Secondariamente, è un giallista, che ambienta i suoi romanzi nella Parigi della belle epoque. I suoi romanzi, editi da quella Tea che riesce ad infilare piccoli gioielli insieme ad autentiche cazzate col botto, sono centrati sulle indagini di Victor Legris, un personaggio particolare, un libraio che credo piacerebbe a Paolo Ferrucci.

Il Mistero di Rue des Saint-Péres è quello che ho comprato. In Italia è edito anche La donna del Père-Lachaise, sempre da Tea. Staremo a vedere. Ulteriori notizie quando avrò finito di leggere il libro.

    Sono più o meno ad un quarto del libro e non sono riuscita ancora a decidere se sia scritto male o semplicemente tradotto male. La prosa è interessante, l’intreccio buono e le atmosfere affascinanti, ma i dialoghi sono davvero meccanici. Comunque vedremo quando l’avrò finito. Grazie della visita.
