#BIMpill – BIM Maturity Tool

Oltre allo strumento open source appartenente al BIM framework e proposto da BIM excellence, un altro dei miei strumenti preferiti è sviluppato dal Centre for Digital Built Britain dell’Università di Cambridge e lo trovate a questo indirizzo.

Si tratta di una piattaforma che vi consente di mappare la maturità di un progetto, tenendo in considerazione le diverse fasi e gli stakeholder coinvolti.

Una volta scelta la fase e individuati gli stakeholder, le domande riguardano ambiti che vanno dalla gestione delle informazioni ai processi e comprendono questioni riguardanti gli acquisti e il procurement, la fase di mobilitazione, la produzione vera e propria, ma anche la gestione dell’asset, o questioni relative non solo alla gestione delle informazioni in sé ma anche alla qualità delle informazioni, alla sicurezza e ai processi collaborativi.

Ogni ambito ha poi una serie di domande relative a quell’aspetto. Nella fase di mobilizzazione, ad esempio, troviamo domande relative al BIM Execution Plan o ai processi di training. Le stesse domande vengono poste alle diverse parti e i risultati vengono messi a confronto, per individuare gli eventuali anelli deboli della catena.
