2020 Advent Calendar [5] – Jane Walker

Jane Walker is a wonderful artist: you can see her work on her website and you can visit her print gallery should you wish to buy something of hers. For some reason, some of her work really put me in the mood of these holidays. Domestic, everyday objects and yet striving for beauty. My personal favorite are the Almost Blue (to be seen while listening to jazz, probably), Figs and Stars and Diamond Rug. However I would say that the most suitable option for this festive season is Snowdrops and Pomgranade. The upper part of the illustration is the header of this post.

I warned you I would try and do this: I’m not making any promises, let’s see if I can keep this up.
