Upcoming tv

I’m behind with… well, pretty much everything when it comes to tv series, but here are more things to be behind in watching, this summer. Aside from new seasons of tv shows I’m really behind with (House of Cards, Orphan Black) and things I was up to date and I’m following (Dark Matter, Preacher), here’s what’s new:

The Mist
premieres on June 22

It’s a high season for all Stephen King’s fans (I should know: I live with one): this promises to be another story of what isolation does to America’s countryside small towns (Jerico, anybody?).
Interesting, but I think I’ll pass.

Midnight, Texas
premieres on July 24


Perfect set for an RPG game and maybe I’m too old for this, but I’ll give it a shot.

Marvel’s The Defenders
premieres on August 18

Marvel’s tv series started being rather boring, lately, but let’s see if this team-up brings a little juice back to the franchise.

Death Note
premiers on August 25

Not a series but a Netflix movie. Still, it’s something to look out for: the manga was era-defining and it was about time it was given the credit it’s due.

Ducktales
premier date to be announced

Hell yes! I’ve been waiting for this, and trembling and hoping, and it looks… well, you can either like or hate the style of the drawing but it’s a drawing and it does have style, so hurray!

Also, I’d like to catch back with Killjoys.
