(Ultimate Power #7, da Ultimate Power #7 dell’ottobre 2007). Eh vabbé, ormai da dire qui ci sono sempre le stesse cose. Sale al timone Jeph Loeb e non mi aspetto proprio niente di buono, ma almeno in questo numero i personaggi fanno qualcos’altro oltre a picchiarsi e la trama avanza di un filo. L’intero dipanarsi dell’intreccio con Fury che pensa che Destino abbia fatto una cosa che invece non ha fatto laddove invece ne sta facendo un’altra, Reed che pensava di avere fatto una cosa che invece ha fatto un altro ecc. ecc. non è male. Ma è ancora troppo troppo poco. E la chiusura dell’albo non mi lascia presagire nulla di buono. “Avete distrutto il nostro mondo”, di nuovo, e si ricomincia.
E’ vero più che mai che sto comprando questo albo solo per le splendide atmosfere dei disegni del controverso Greg Land. La Scarlet in primo piano nella tavola di apertura, nella sua semplicità è qualcosa di meraviglioso.

Visione #3 (Ultimate Vision #3, da Ultimate Vision #3 dell’aprile 2007). A me francamente questa serie continua a non dire nulla. Un po’ perché continuo a soffrire la mancanza di vera fantascienza nell’universo Marvel, un po’ perché – pur non disdegnando l’argomento in generale – non riesco particolarmente ad apprezzare la versione ultimate di un personaggio solo in virtù delle sue tette. Abbiamo la versione ultimate di Galactus, ed è ridotta pure peggio di quella “standard” (il che, considerato lo stato in cui versa di recente, è tutto dire). Bah.
