"All this he saw, for one moment breathless and intense, vivid on the morning sky; and still, as he looked, he lived; and still, as he lived, he wondered."

R.I.P. Stan

As if the year couldn’t get any worst, this is bad bad news, another light going out and in a moment when I’m starting to think we might need all of them and more. Stan Lee was more than a genius: he was a genius who seemed to tremendously enjoy what he did. In everyone of his appearances he seemed genuinely happy, he created beautiful things which kept company to many many of us for many many years. He wouldn’t like us mourning him. Ok, maybe he would like us mourning him, but just a little bit.

From the man who taught us that “With great powers come great responsibility”, I expect he would prefer us to learn something from him.

What I’m trying to learn from his joy and strength, is this: don’t get in league with people who don’t enjoy what they do, who always find excuses for not being happy, who are unable to see the beauty in things, because they will try and make you ugly. Keep righteous, keep busy, keep happy. If any, do it for Stan.

The SSR of Beautiful Models: Stewardship, Structure and Responsibility

“Advanced BIM”: what does that even mean? “Advanced BIM” is one of those expressions that sound authoritative and yet, when you ask what it actually describes, the answers become very vague very quickly. The statement doesn’t mean anything, and it drives me crazy equally quickly.
