Trovato l’oro nelle valli bergamasche
– Gli esiti delle ricerche spiegati dalla Rivista mineralogica italiana
Il geologo Renato Marsetti ha recuperato scagliette nelle acque dell’alta Valle Seriana e piccole pepite incastonate nelle rocce
BERGAMO – Non ci sono le premesse perché nelle Prealpi Orobie si scatene la corsa all’oro, ma dopo secoli di voci incontrollate adesso la notizia è stata diffusa in modo ufficiale dal geologo Renato Marsetti di Ecogeo, centro di ricerche geologiche e tecnologie d’ambiente di Bergamo: nei monti bergamaschi ci sono tracce del metallo giallo. Marsetti lo ha anche scritto in un articolo per l’ultimo numero della Rivista mineralogica italiana, basato su trent’anni di studi e analisi nelle zone della Valle del Goglio.
Nel corso degli anni Marsetti ha trovato campioni di oro sia nelle rocce sia nel torrente Goglio, confermando scritti e notizie risalenti al Duecento. Il geologo ha trovato pepite e scagliette d’oro nelle acque dell’alta Valle Seriana e piccole pepite incastonate nelle rocce, generalmente unito al quarzo, e visibili anche a occhio nudo.
