If not for the single story where they cure depression by blasting jazz against brainwaves (not how depression works, I’m afraid), one of the best collections I’ve read so far. It has the sequel of “Marooned off Vesta”, one of Asimov’s the best stories of human ingenuity; it has “Mirror Image”, the only short story featuring the legendary human-android detective duo; it has stories with humans adjusting the three laws and paving the way for disaster, under the watchful eye of long-dead Susan Calvin’s hologram. And the titular story is possibly the most touching and delicate thing Asimov ever wrote.
